Elizabeth Kennick

Teachers in Space, Inc.

Elizabeth Kennick has directed Teachers in Space (TIS) since 2011. Formerly VP of Client Technology at Morgan Stanley, she now develops affordable flight experiment equipment for the classroom. TIS regularly fly classroom experiments on high altitude balloons and stratospheric glider, adding Blue Origin as a suborbital spaceflight provider in 2019. Liz is now driving Teachers in Space’s launch of their first orbital satellite with Firefly Aerospace.

Liz holds a masters degree in Information Systems / Operations Analysis and is certified as a Project Management Professional and a Network Engineer. She teaches systems engineering, Arduino programming, data management, and test management.
