Stephen Daire

Mr. Daire works in interdisciplinary STEAMED. He has an Evolutionary Anthropology BSc and Evolutionary Medicine Graduate Certificate from Rutgers University, a Geographic Information Science and Technology MSc from University of Southern California, and a AR/VR/XR Design & Development engineering graduate certificate from Syracuse University. He has worked on projects for Rutgers Paleoenvironmental Research Laboratory, National Geographic Society, International Institute of Astronautical Sciences, Canadian Space Agency, CONFERS, Scubanauts International, Carbon Removal XPrize, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab – Interstellar Probe, ICES – Space for All Nations, Space Generation Advisory Council – Domi Inter Astra Moonbase Design, and Mars Ocean Analog – Harmonia Mission.

Stephen founded Protean Industries to forward aquanautics, astronautics, geospatial robotics, remote sensing, and AR/VR/XR innovation. Mr. Daire is working with International Institute of Astronautical Sciences as a course designer and underwater robotics specialist for EVA 105 and EVA 106 space suit test subject training. He is a TDI sidemount cavediver, a PADI Divemaster, and a NAUI Scuba Instructor Candidate. He is also an Eagle Scout mentor, merit badge counselor, and Explorer’s Club Member.
