Thomas Matula

Sul Ross State University

Thomas Matula has both a MBA and Ph.D. in Business Administration from New Mexico State University. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on the development of commercial spaceports. He since has published numerous articles on space policy and economic development strategies for the space industry. Currently employed at Sul Ross State University, his academic career includes over 30 years of teaching/research and writing on space commerce and business strategy. Dr. Matula’s research focuses on the economic development of space and the role of space habitats in the industrialization of the Solar System.
